Western Home is seeking a caring Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in Grundy Center, IA (Creekside Living) that will truly love what they do and love where they work. What you'll do:

• Provide care to residents under the supervision of the nurse and support of your team
• Provide physical support for residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, - using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.
• Assists with organizing, cleaning, laundry, meals and other assigned tasks
• Promptly answer residents calls for assistance and provide compassionate care that is in alignment with their specific care plan
• Chart resident interactions throughout shift and communicate efficiently with the members of your team
• Ensures that resident’s rights are adhered to

What you'll need:

• Must possess a current active license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Iowa.
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the public.
• Strong commitment to serving others
• Effective communication, both verbal and written
• Prior direct care experience preferred, but not required.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as required
