JOB REQUIREMENTSEducationCertification by an Aide training program which meets the requirements of the Home Health Federal Regulations and Medicare Hospice Conditions of Participation (COP). Has not had a lapse of 24 consecutive months where the individual has not provided aide services for compensation. Must pass a written competency exam given by the medical center HHA prior to employment. Must maintain drivers license valid in the state of Arkansas and automobile liability insurance. Must possess the ability to read and write.ExperienceMust demonstrate a sound knowledge base and action in care and judgement. Must communicate well.PhysicalDriving is part of job responsibilities. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Operate hairdryer, hoyer lift, whirlpool, shampoo board, B/P machine, thermometer, telephone, automobile. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping. Lifting, pushing/pulling up to 250 lbs. Carrying up to 40 lbs.This is a safety sensitive position.
