Summary:

The CNC division is responsible for the operation of computer numerical control machines used to fabricate components. It is the CNC operator's job to place parts in the machine, cycle it, and recognize malfunctions in machine performance, such as worn or broken cutting tools. The position also involves running production lots, keeping in touch with co-workers regarding production runs, and sustaining a safe, well-organized, and clean work environment.

Job Functions:

• Insert and extract parts from machines.

• Utilize basic measuring equipment to inspect ports.

• Maintain production rates.

• Spot and report defective materials or suspicious conditions to supervisor.

• Carries out inspection of machined products, and keeps inspection logs.

• Must observe all safety rules and policies as set forth by OSHA guidelines and Pace Industries policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual.

• Pursue precise work instructions.

• Execute other duties as directed.

• Capability to read drawings or blueprints.

Required Experience:

• Knowledge operating CNC Machines

• Full comprehension of inspection tools

Salary info:

$17 - $22 / hr
