Job description
Town & Country Industries, is a division of ABC Supply, and is seeking a motivated CNC Machine Shop Supervisor, for our manufacturing branch in Rivera Beach, FL.
In this role, you will provide supervisory support and assist with running of the daily operations of this manufacturing branch. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will report directly to the Divisional Purchasing Manager, and must be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
Specific duties include, but not limited to:
- Supervising the associates of this location and manage the assets of the branch
- Clear communication with TCI management team, customers and vendors
- Working closely with divisional purchasing team to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained
- Creating, monitoring and closing work orders for production
- Updating and maintaining production scheduling
- Conducting and entering monthly inventory cycle counts
- Scheduling and coordinating LTL freight and Fed Ex shipments
- Managing records, filing and other office related duties
- Other duties as assigned by direct report
Specific qualifications include
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred, but not mandatory
- Mazak CNC programming and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of fixture building and set up
- Aluminum manufacturing, polishing and assembly
- Previous knowledge of manufacturing and shipping
- Knowledge of AS400 a plus
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multi-task
- Positive attitude and team player
