Heritage Lakeside is wonderful facility with 60+ beds that focuses on short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. Our team consists of creative, compassionate, and caring individuals making a positive impact on our residents, family, friends, and co-workers. Job Description:
- Prepare all foods for meals according to menus and using proper food handling and food safety in accordance to policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all food served is palatable, acceptable temperature and temperature logged, and visually appealing.
- Ensures proper portioning and serving of food according to menus, recipes, and tray cards.
- Ensure all kitchen and dining room is cleaned and sanitized to maximize infection control.
- Optimizing dish washing machine to ensure properly wash and sanitize all dishes, silverware, cups, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Keeping worktables, sinks, and floors neat and clean, as well as emptying the trash can accordingly and at the end of each shift.
- Storing left over items properly to follow policies and procedures.
- Helping team members to make the residents feel the most homelike atmosphere as possible.
- Attending all department meetings and all staff meetings.
- Showing up for work on time and following the appropriate call-in procedure when necessary.
- Performing good hygiene and appropriate dresswear according to policies and procedures.

- Comprehensive understanding
Hours: 6am to 2:30pm or 11am to 7:30pm
