Job description
We are looking to hire someone for a commercial construction position in the Kansas City metro. The applicant will need to be self-sufficient in how to problem solve and make repairs in a variety of trades listed below. The applicant will be based out of Kansas City but some travel and overtime hours may be required.
The applicant must be a great communicator with clients, vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and company management. Applicants must be self-motivated and self-sufficient when it comes to all construction tasks. Applicants must also maintain a positive attitude. This is not an entry-level position or apprentice position.
Applicant needs to be proficient at the following trades:

- Drywall installation.
- Drywall finishing.
- Painting.
- Caulking.
- Casework.
- Window and door installation.
- Rough and finish carpentry.
- Metal framing.
- Acoustic ceilings.
- Minor electrical.
- Minor plumbing.
- More construction-related tasks as needed.
- Wallpaper and flooring experience preferred.
- Experience leading crews and/or as a supervisor is preferred.
Requirements:
Applicants must be able to pass a background check and be legal to work in the United States.
