Job Responsibilities:

Compensation

  • Assist with evaluating Manitowoc’s jobs, including review of job descriptions and maintenance of job description repository.
  • Assist US based and international HR teams by completing market benchmark reviews of base pay and bonus pay levels for various hourly and salaried job classifications.
  • Assist the Compensation Manager by creating equity grant upload files for loading annual grants or discretionary grants into the Fidelity Stock Plan Services (PWS) system.
  • Assist the Compensation Manager by maintaining the company insider listing (quarterly) to ensure that employees maintain compliance with SEC trading rules.
  • Contribute organizational data to, and analyze results of, compensation surveys.
  • Coordinate with HR contacts in Europe and Asia as needed.
  • Participates in administration of salary, short-term incentive, and long-term incentive programs, including salary structure updates.
  • Participates in administration of sales compensation plan, including quarterly review of sales results and payouts and monthly review of vehicle program.
  • Assist with annual communications to employees regarding long-term incentive and short-term incentive programs.
  • Assist with global mobility administration and immigration processes. Includes communications with employees and vendors to commence international assignments or relocations, gather necessary information at vendor request, and review documentation prior to submission to vendor.
  • Assist with on-going documentation of compensation policies and procedures.

Benefits Administration

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (medical/Rx, dental, vision, life and disability, flexible spending plan, retirement plans, etc.).

  • Serve as a main resource for employee benefits questions; providing benefits information and answering questions in a timely manner, resolve employee escalations.
    • Act as a liaison between the Company and benefit carriers/vendors to ensure effective benefits administration, identification, and problem resolution.
  • Process benefits vendor invoices for payment, generates self-billing calculations, and coordinates claim funding process to ensure timely payments.
  • Coordinate benefits payment activities during employees’ Leave of Absence.
  • Update benefits elections due to qualifying life events.
    • Perform quarterly audit of H&W benefits enrollments to reconcile them with carrier invoices.
    • Perform periodic indicative data and eligibility audits.
    • Generate ad hoc reports and performs pertinent data analysis.
  • Assist in annual internal benefits audits.
  • Assist in drafting communication and educational materials regarding benefit plans and programs and maintains up-to-date benefits information on the Company intranet site.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience Requirements: 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to details.
