About the role:
The Principal Compensation Analyst will be the primary consultant for our Global Supply Chain organization located in our Marlborough, MA headquarters. Active partnership with our Global Total Rewards team and key resource for compensation programs such as merit, incentive and equity programs. Plan, research, develop and implement compensation policies and programs to support the attainment of business objectives.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Evaluates present programs through research, surveys, and analysis of compensation trends and/or vendor management to evaluate competitive position as it relates to the company's strategy.
  • Use job evaluation process to determine job requirements and prepare market data analysis to determine compensation program assignment (pay structures, variable pay, equity)
  • Advise, educate and coach Human Resources and management on compensation programs and systems.
  • Represent compensation and/or serve as project manager on specified initiatives.
  • Review existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration and recommend appropriate course of action.
  • Participate in compensation and pay practice surveys by collecting and analyzing competitive pay information to evaluate competitive position as it relates to the company's strategy.
  • What we're looking for:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • 6+ years' compensation analyst experience required
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and HRIS systems. Working knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Access.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, High Tech or Manufacturing industry experience a plus
  • Solid understanding of the legal and regulatory environments in the US. Knowledge of other countries regulations a plus
  • Experience with market data software and SuccessFactors
  • Executive, equity compensation, incentive comp design, and/or sales comp experience a plus
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, team-based environment to achieve results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
