As an Associate Product Compliance Development Analyst you will be responsible for assisting with the development and regulatory compliance of the products offered by American National as well as ensuring procedural compliance for such products.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with developing and writing policies, policy coverage forms, riders, endorsements, etc., for new product development or product changes, ensuring compliance with state regulations while meeting business objectives and providing competitive differences in the marketplace
- Assist in the analysis of policy forms in response to changes in state laws and regulations, advisory opinions and bulletins
- Assist with research and analysis of state laws and regulations, advisory opinions and bulletins, and determining their impact on product offerings and/or on the company; assisting with communication to the affected areas; developing any state specific forms, rules or notices; and coordinating any changes in procedures to ensure compliance
- Assist in filing policies, forms, endorsements, annual certifications, and any other items required with state departments of insurance or other regulatory agencies
- Review and consult on marketing materials and communications to the agency field force explaining changes to forms and new product offerings
- Respond to requests from marketing groups and internal customers for specimen policies
- Assist state auditors, internal auditors and litigation in retrieving historical policy form
- Updates, maintains, and quality reviews the online resources and library of company rates, rules, forms, underwriting guidelines, checklists, etc.
Required Qualifications:
- One year of experience in life insurance and annuities or related work experience
- One or more LOMA exams completed.
In addition, SERFF (System for Electronic Rate and Form Filings) training is preferred, but not required, and you are encouraged to apply.
