Job Summary:

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage IFP compliance policies and procedures in alignment with federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance.
• Oversee the review, approval, and management of IFP marketing materials, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance.
• Develop and assist with the delivery of comprehensive IFP compliance training to staff, agents, and other stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain a robust IFP compliance reporting framework, ensuring accurate and timely submission of required data to various state insurance departments and other regulatory bodies.
• Assist with the management and resolution of IFP-related complaints, ensuring corrective actions are taken as needed.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on IFP compliance, providing guidance and support to internal departments, including sales, marketing, customer service, and others.
• Monitor changes to federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance, updating policies, procedures, and training materials as needed.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance and IFP Sales teams to ensure consistent and cohesive compliance efforts across the organization.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the company's overall compliance program, including risk assessments, audits, and monitoring activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Respond to external requests (carrier and regulator initiated) as it relates to the IFP line of business.
• Assist with compliance implementation and management of the Enhanced Direct Enrollment Platform.
• Conduct internal investigations into potential or suspected compliance issues and escalations, ensuring thorough examination, documentation, and resolution while collaborating with relevant departments and stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field)

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IFP compliance.

Skills and Abilities

• In-depth knowledge of state and federal laws, regulations, and guidance pertaining to Individual and Family Plans.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare and insurance industries, including regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or similar certification is preferred.
