We are currently seeking Computed Tomography Technologists (CT) for our on-site hospital facilities located in the city of Los Angeles, CA 90033 & 90027.

SCHEDULE: Full-time, Per Diem & Temporary positions / rotational weekends & holidays
SHIFT: Varies / 4:00pm - 12:30am / 12:00am - 8:30am

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of a radiologist, and reporting to the lead technologist. Provides patient services using imaging protocols. Performs a variety of Computed Tomography procedures on patients of all age categories. Evaluates images for technical quality, and exercises professional attitude & judgment in the performance of duties. Recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action & initiates life support measures.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• CT technologists take diagnostic images of patients' internal structures using computerized tomography equipment. They ensure that patients are correctly positioned and closely monitored during CT scans.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by maintaining a professional behavior toward members & coworkers
• Identifies the impact of cultural diversity & lifestyle choices on patient condition & makes accommodations for such differences
• Demonstrates an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional & chronological maturation process in delivery of services to patients of the age group served
• Exercises clinical judgment that conforms to established standards
• Documents clinical activities in a timely, comprehensive & accurate manner

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of (1) one year Hospital experience
• Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Radiologic Technology
• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) (R)(CT)
• California Dept. of Public Health (CRT)
• California Dept. of Public Health Fluoroscopy Permit
• Venipuncture CertificateNew graduates and seasoned candidates welcome to apply
