Job description
The Computer Technician is responsible for the support, installation and configuration of computers in a networking environment.
Monday - Friday 8a-4p
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assists in Troubleshooting and maintaining PC Hardware
2. Provides technical support and assistance to IGHL and affiliate’s employees
3. Trains for new technologies as they arise
4. Administers training in commercial applications
5. Assist with PBX’s and phone and/or cell phone issues as well as cable television and internet services
6. Assists in IT clerical duties
7. Assists in configuration and deployment of PC Hardware
8. All other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
A. Associate’s technical degree or three years technical working experience
B. Ability to communicate technical language in layman’s terms
C. Excellent interpersonal skills
D. Extensive computer knowledge
E. Training experience
F. Analytical ability
G. Ability to be creative
H. Valid NYS driver’s license
I. Must be able to lift at least fifty pounds
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
