Concierge Overview

Sundance Square has become a model for urban development, creating a large cultural and economic impact on the city of Fort Worth.

As a Concierge, you will report directly to the Security Shift Manager and Residential Leasing Manger.
The Concierge Role
The Concierge position assists the tenants of our residential buildings with access control, guest arrivals/departures, mail and package delivery and provides an exemplary level of customer service. This person works as a member of the team to provide services in a manner that ensures a safe experience for the building residents and the public while recognizing the changing, complex, and unique needs of everyone.

The Concierge will quickly pivot as priorities shift, and work hand in hand with the Security Team to ensure a safe environment. An upbeat personality, friendly demeanor and composure in a fluid environment are essential in this role. This role will require shift work with extended and weekend/holiday hours. The individuals selected for the role will be required to undergo a background check and drug screening.

In addition to performing the key responsibilities of this position, the Concierge must exemplify our values and guiding principles to ultimately ensure the fulfillment of our purpose.

In this role the Concierge will work under the guidance of the Security Shift Manager to:

  • Greet and welcome tenants and guest of the building.
  • Act as the first point of contact between guests and the organization. Answering guest inquiries, directing phone calls, and more.
  • Must always uphold company culture while making guests and tenants feel valued and important
  • Have a strong desire for customer service and a genuine interest in helping people.
  • Ensure that public areas and lobbies are neat and organized
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and order new stock as needed
  • Control access to the residential areas and ensure a safe environment for the tenants.
  • Maintain key logs and key check in / check out.
  • Monitor computer systems and cameras related to the residential building
  • Receive and notify tenants of deliveries, packages, and USPS mail.
  • Maintain a resident list with contact information, safety information, and guest access list
  • Respond to customer/client requests pertaining to day-to-day tasks.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Qualifications)

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • Must be a detail orientated individual who listens well and possess exceptional people skills
  • A certification in the hospitality field is not required, but preferred
  • One year of experience working as a front desk concierge, or similar position
  • Proactive and self-driven attitude
  • Strong follow through skills
  • Confidence in a fast-paced, fluid environment
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Analytical and flexible problem solving
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
