We currently have an opportunity for a Concrete Batch Plant Supervisor to support our business in Big Sky, MT. This position oversees our daily operations at our Big Sky plant insuring we produce quality concrete along with meeting our customers’ needs and job specifications. This is a fast paced work environment so a successful candidate would be able to prioritize based on the business needs.
Key Functions
- Ensure safe delivery of materials to all customers and contractors
- Verify loads for yardage, mix, added products and all other quality information
- Track inventory, order and receive ad mixtures and raw materials
- Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of the Batch Plant by working closely with the drivers and operator
- Observe any mechanical or safety failures and delegate the appropriate personel or resource
- Clearly communicate with management and drivers to promote efficiency and proactively solve problems
- Maintain required records and documentation
- Interact with customers to complete the sale and paperwork process
- Responsible for personnel time entry and record keeping
- Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Knowledge of D.O.T regulations
- Maintain a safety-first mindset
Qualifications
- Concrete batching experience is required
- Supervisor experience required
- Valid Class A CDL Driver’s License is strongly preferred
