Job Title: Landscape Construction Laborer

Classification: Seasonal - Full Time, Hourly

Reno Green Landscaping Inc. is seeking a Landscape Construction Laborer to work in our construction department. We are looking for a strong candidate that is passionate about working for a fast-paced, award winning, and growing company that is privately owned & operated. Overall Purpose:
The Landscape Construction Laborer will be responsible for the proper installation of landscaping by using hands, power tools, or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, digging, lifting, raking, problem solving, equipment operating, etc. This position will work in crews of 2 or more people, so collaboration and good communication is vital.

Duties:
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, trenchers and loaders
Ability to set grades
Paver and hardscape installation skills
Installation of retaining walls
Knowledge of outdoor kitchen installation, including laying block, routing electrical, installing BBQs
Installation of irrigation systems from point of connection to completion. This includes all mainline, laterals, valves, PVBs, etc.
Knowledge of installing trees, shrubs and perennials
Plant identification knowledge
Knowledge of low voltage lighting installation
Installation of boulders and boulder steps
Installation of mulches such as DG, rock and bark
Installation of artificial turf
Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliage
Understanding how to install and program an irrigation time clock
Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, chop saws, vibra-plates, jumping jacks, wheelbarrows, turf brooms, generators, etc.
Additional duties/tasks/projects as needed

Qualifications:

Able to follow directions
A valid and clean NV drivers license is a plus
Must have a strong work ethic and able to prioritize daily tasks
An OSHA card is a plus, but not necessary
