Construction Team Helper

Duties may include:

• Deliver and post permits.
• Magnet sweep and final jobsite cleanup following project completion and crew cleanup
• Be responsible for documenting and taking pictures of all on-site visits
• Pick up additional needed material and deliver it to jobsite
• Return leftover materials to the supplier after jobs are completed
• Depending on skills may be tasked to troubleshoot or complete minor repairs or adjustments needed to complete the job
• Take in-progress photos
• Meet building department inspectors when needed
• Additional errands, deliveries or pickups at the direction of the production department or general manager
• Based on performance and skills there is an opportunity to advance into other roles and responsibilities

Job Requirements:

• Can carry shingles/lumber/trash/tools if needed
• Drive to various locations to pick up permits and materials for the internal teams.
• Schedule and close permits.
• Build strong and lasting relationships with city officials and inspectors.
• Effectively manage your daily schedule to complete several time-sensitive tasks.
• Organize routes, drop permits, and/or materials off at on-site locations.
• Communicate with the internal team on a daily basis.
• Use company software and systems to maintain up-to-date communication.
• Assist with small repairs and maintenance requests.
• Responsible for various types of administrative work.
• Maintenance of company vehicle & tools.
• Pick up and deliver parts to shop, job sites, etc. in a timely manner
• Run various errands as assigned
• Provide general support to job site personnel
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with Co Workers, and Management
• Works in cooperative manner with other team members to accomplish the goals of the job site
• Use safe working practices and follow all safety requirement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

• Renton, WA 98057: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
