AECOM Leeding Builders Group
is seeking to hire a Construction Financial Pre-Qualification Specialist to support our ongoing construction projects in New York City. This position will work out of our offices in Manhattan.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works under limited supervision, responsible for performing analyses and reports for department management under direct supervision.
  • May complete assignments of limited complexity, requiring independent evaluation, selection, adaptation, and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Produces regularly scheduled reports from multiple data sources. May be assigned analysis in support of organization’s annual budget process, expense/service fee/staffing forecasts, or statistical reporting.
  • Is able to analyze and present data for purpose of evaluation. Assists in other financial research projects and analyses of operational results.
  • Demonstrates the ability to organize, process, and present information, requiring good communication skills.

Job Summary

  • The Pre-Qualification Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Subcontractor Prequalification profiles in TradeTapp including the review of subcontractor financials.
  • The Pre-Qualification Specialist will be the primary internal and external point of contact for all subcontractor pre-qualification related activities.
  • Work closely with the Financial Controller and Business Administration Manager.
  • The Pre-Qualification Specialist will recommend subcontractor specific risk mitigation plans and more generally assist with the development of various risk management policies and procedures.
  • This individual will interface with the finance, legal, and operations, and will play a critical role in the implementation of the company’s subcontractor risk management practices.
  • The ideal candidate would have financial acumen (balance sheets, revenue, compliance).
  • This individual will perform periodic audits to ensure compliance to the pre-qualification program and subcontractor risk mitigation plans.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Finance or related curriculum or AA/AS + 2 years of relevant experience in construction finance/risk or HSD/GED + 4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Prior experience in construction risk management or surety work preferred.
  • Experience with basic financial documentation, such as balance sheet and revenue analysis
  • Knowledge of TradeTapp is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CMIC is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Offered rate of compensation (New York City only) will be based on individual education, qualification, experience and work location. The salary range for the position is $26.13/HR - $45.73/HR (non-exempt).
