Job Summary The Project Estimator is responsible for estimating the cost of proposed projects based on design plans, vendor costs for client selections, installer estimates, other time and labor needs, and identifying all costs that go into a project. The Project Estimator is a Sales staff support position in relation to the project’s design completion and in coordination with multiple teams. This includes creating detailed estimates from Sales notes and CAD designs, gathering all needed documentation, pricing while ensuring accuracy, as well as reporting and tracking costs for accurate records. The Project Estimator is committed to implementation, execution, and completion of the company’s specific strategy, and goals as related to the project.

Job Responsibilities

1. Produce take-offs/print mark up

2. Complete accurate estimation and job scope.

3. RFI’s

4. Coordinate with vendors and installers on pricing and estimation.

5. Accurate record keeping as well as update/maintain pricing database.

6. Reporting

Additional Education/Knowledge/Skills

· 2 years of experience working as an estimator

· Ability to work independently

· Amazing critical thinking, analytical, and math skills

· Effective communicator with ability to work well on a team

· Very detail oriented

· Ability to understand technical drawings and requirements

· Deep knowledge of how processes work

· Exceptional Organizational and Time Management Skills.

· Office 365 experience preferred.

· Qfloors and Hubspot software experience a bonus
