Job Description

Background of the project

The IRC has more than 100 Women at Work groups in the organization. W@W groups are employee led groups working to remove barriers women face in workplace environments. Since their establishment 10 years ago, the IRC’s W@W groups has been a driving force to build a more gender equal, safe, and respectful place for women to work in our offices across the globe.

Scope of Work:

Throughout the years, W@W groups have been one of our strongest assets to drive an inclusive workplace culture and help the IRC to move forward on our Gender, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (GEDI) goals and Action Plan. It’s key that we gather detailed information on how the groups work, what are the drivers for their success and what lessons learned we can share with the rest of the organization and externally.

After reviewing internal documents, the researcher will conduct interviews with key stakeholders in order to create a report (6 pages max) summarizing main achievement, drivers of success and lessons learned for future initiatives of W@W groups across the IRC.

Deliverables:

  • A comprehensive analysis report (around 12 pages) on W@W groups across the IRC that includes
Brief history, and main their achievement,
List of best practices for establishing, facilitation and supporting W@W across the organization
Lessons learned and drivers for success
List of recommendations to strengthen W@W movement effectiveness and impact.
  • PowerPoint presentations: one for use in debriefing meeting(s) and for use during external events
