Content Developer
Reports to: Community Development Lead
Background: Cahaba Medical Care Foundation is a community health center providing medical, pharmacy, dental, and behavioral health services to diverse underserved communities in Jefferson, Bibb, Perry, and Chilton counties. We are a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home and Joint Commission accredited organization, committed to increasing integration and coordination of behavioral health and primary care. This is an exciting, fast paced practice with a strong mission and commitment to providing high quality care.
Purpose: Support Executive Office with written content for presentations, advocacy, educational/instructional scripts and marketing while integrating closely with the community development team. Support the mission of Cahaba Medical Care by capturing the stories of patient groups and communities served by the health center.
This position is grant-funded.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Develops and writes speeches, briefings, and other communications for executives. Translating the ideas, objectives, and management philosophy into messages that relate to the topic, speaker, and intended audience.- Assist and work closely with the community development team for planning, developing and implementing the overall company's scripted content.
- Produce language for communications material for internal employees, patients and community partners.
- Increase employee and customer engagement, tailoring content towards different strategic goals, translating executive vision statements into easily consumable material, putting together clear narratives and measuring the success of each story.
- Communicate effectively in oral and written form.
- Conducting and assisting in research; Collecting, organizing, and analyzing opinions and data to solve problems, explore issues, and predict trends.
