Media Shower content strategists are responsible for three vital parts of the content marketing process:
- Content ideation and editing
- Client relationship building
- Writer mentoring
Content ideation and editing
- Creates ideas based on keyword hierarchy and client needs
- Creates content briefs for approved ideas
- Copyedits completed content for grammar, punctuation, tone, style, and adherence to content briefs
- Works with designers and other producers to provide complete content campaigns to clients
Client relationship building
- Attends monthly progress calls with clients to discuss upcoming content
- Provides clients with content briefs in advance of monthly calls
- Serves as the go-to resource for all content-related matters handled on a day-by-day basis for clients
- Coordinates with content director to discuss client results and concerns
Writer mentoring
- Provides article feedback to writers regularly
- Participates in regular writer workshops
- Writes content for the writer-facing newsletter
- Meets with writers as needed to discuss client results and concerns
