Position Summary:
Identity Group is a fast paced, ever-changing environment delivering exciting sign projects to major hospitality and custom brand clients as well as office products nationwide. The Continuous Improvement Manager will manage all activities related to process improvement initiatives plus development and implementation of Continuous Improvement strategies in a manufacturing setting. This position will be an advocate for positive change and outcomes for all processes and provide proactive solutions to optimize production uptime

Essential Functions:

• Develop and monitor implementation of process changes meant to result in: cost or waste reduction, quality or productivity improvement, customer satisfaction, or Throughput increases.
• Oversee process change implementation and track progress towards efficiency or quality goals.
• Collaborate with various cross functional teams, including executive leadership, to identify and select processes or projects for inclusion in the organization's continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish key performance indicators; evaluate current state, and propose future state goals and objectives, assist in implementation.
• Performs continuous improvement activities using the tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, RCA, SPC, DOE, Kaizen, etc. for cost reduction, quality improvement, improved efficiency, and improved material flow.
• Coach lean tools and root cause problem solving at various levels of the organization.
• Complies with all Identity Group policies and procedures.
• Represent the company in business and community activities when appropriate.
• Performs other job functions as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Five+ years’ experience driving change through development, implementation, and ongoing coaching of Lean processes.
• Experience developing, leading, and coaching Lean practices in operations required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to lead multiple projects at once. PMP certification preferred.

• Demonstrated communication and facilitation skills.
• Fluency in PC tools: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Outlook, and Minitab.
• Able to travel domestically and internationally

Physical Requirements:

• Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly must be able to talk, see and hear.

Education and Experience:

• BS degree in an engineering discipline, prefer Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5+ years process improvement engineering in manufacturing in similar industries.
• Educated and practicing the principles of Lean.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Black Belt required. Master Black Belt a strong plus.
