Overview
As a member of the sales operations team, the Contract Administrator will report to the Contracts Manager and assume a strategic role in the software sales division. The Contract Administrator will have primary day-to-day responsibility for creating, tracking, and managing software sales and services contracts. The Contract Administrator will supplement the efforts and responsibilities of the Contract Team and help facilitate sales closure, as well as overall contract lifecycle.

This role will support multiple time zones globally. This is a remote position and candidates can be located in the US or Australia.

Responsibilities
  • Understand and review contracts based on standard contract principles
  • Review purchase orders to ensure alignment with contracts
  • Process software sales contracts, SOWs, amendments and change orders for a global sales department
  • Update and maintain 1000 + customer contracts as necessary
  • Track and manage contract clauses, changes, and other contract administration functions
  • Ensure proper insurance documents are sent and maintained
  • Ensure any security certifications promised in contracts are sent out when required
  • Maintain company’s contract templates and language changes/version control, as needed
  • Review US export and trade restrictions lists for customer compliance
  • Act as liaison between Contracts Team and other departments to solve customer issues based on the contracts
  • Manages termination/expiration process for all customer contracts
  • Use MS Office, SharePoint, and SalesForce for daily tasks
  • May create and send out simple contracts where necessary
  • Provide ad hoc reports on customer contracts
  • Miscellaneous projects

Qualifications
  • Must be able to work remotely with little supervision
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • At least 3 years in an administrative role or one year in a contract administrator position
  • Exposure to contracts and contract terminology/principles is required
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills at various levels throughout the organization
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and be flexible
  • Ability to navigate Microsoft Office with a high level of proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
  • Experience with SalesForce a plus
