CONTRACTOR LOGISTICS SUPPORT (CLS) MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will act as part of the Delaware Resource Group managing all CLS efforts of the A-10 Aircrew Training System (ATS) through constant interaction with teams of department managers, instructors, engineers, technicians, subcontractors, government representatives and training support personnel. Responsible for scheduling personnel, managing labor and material expenditures. Attends meetings, manages delivery schedules and coordinates configuration management activities. Ensure a safe and secure work environment is established and maintained
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include, but are not limited to the following:
- Manages Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) operations and assigned personnel
- Coordinates and schedules CLS activities to include hardware and software design, modifications, code and test, configuration management functions, and master library functions
- Assigns functions to subordinates and reviews completed technical work for compliance with requirements; ensures necessary documentation associated with CLS modification activity is completed
- Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as engineering, program management, manufacturing, and operations to develop and produce proposals responsive to customer needs, as well as recognizing unidentified market opportunities for obsolescence and concurrency
- Monitors costs, progress and quality of work and determines solutions to problems encountered
- Answers complex technical questions escalated from team members
- Acts as principal liaison between CLS assigned government Contractor Operating Representatives (CORs) and the Prime Contractor Management Team
- Interfaces with various USAF customer team members for all CLS issues
- Coordinates with CLS department managers to ensure adequate resources and personnel are available to meet contract requirements
- Manages the CLS quality assurance program to ensure ISO compliance
- Manages the CLS security program/IA to meet all local base and USAF requirements
- Responsible for monthly submittals of status reports to meet CDRL requirements
- Attends necessary weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings as required or directed by the Program Manager
- Must be willing to work any shift including one (1) weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per month for 8 hours per day
- The candidate must be fully capable and qualified for OCONUS deployment
- Maintain a professional appearance during working hours

DESIRED SKILLS
- Previous experience working as a Field Service Technician (or similar position) and/or Simulator Maintenance Technician
- Knowledge of A-10 aircraft, flight training, and a working knowledge of engineering concepts
- Previous experience executing maintenance and logistical management in a US military environment
- Technical engineering degree and/or military background
- Extensive practical knowledge of the theories and practices of electronic circuits, computer theory, hydraulic or pneumatic control and power systems, and many other areas covering a wide range of system applications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Capable of working in an IPT environment
SUGGESTED MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor's degree in related field with 7 years of recent management experience preferred
- A valid U.S. Passport with no restrictions on travel
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
- Active Secret Personal Clearances (PCL)
- Must be a US Citizen
