Job-Description

We are looking for an integral add to our existing enthusiastic team. Over the past 5 years we are a company that has over doubled in revenue with 8 figure revenues and two hundred employees. We currently operate in a single market but are looking for a dynamic controller that can aid in the onboarding of additional markets. The successful candidate should be devoted to a servant leadership model with a hunger for growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10 years of related experience, with at least 5 years of experience as a controller.

• 3 years of supervisory experience.

• Bachelor’s degree or greater in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

• Strong capabilities in Power Point, Excel, and Word

• Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions

• Certified Public Accountant (Preferred)

• Microsoft Business Intelligence Experience (Preferred)

• Experience with ERP on boarding (Preferred)

Job Responsibilities/Summary

• Strong commitment to a servant leadership model

• Financial Statement Preparation & Reporting

• Assist the CFO in the planning and coordination of all accounting functions within the company.

• Gather necessary information for external auditors as requested.

• Assist in the hiring and leading of capable accounting staff as needed.

• Works with accounting staff to design, implement and monitor a system of internal controls.

• Ensures that financial reports comply with generally accepted account principles and financial reporting standards.

• Lead month end closing process per the established closing timeline.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for owners, investors, and lenders.

• Review Payroll, Payroll Service Providers, & Benefits Administration in conjunction with Human Resources

• Prepare weekly cash forecasting models and metrics.

• Process weekly check run in coordination with other staff members

• Monitor bank account activity and verify that bank reconciliations were completed properly.

• Ensure that all payments are made on time or early

• Prepare reports and update licensing as required by regulatory agencies.

• Assist Executive Leadership in the annual budget process and implementation.

• Work with Organizational Leadership to analyze, maintain, and revise departmental policies/procedures.

• Any other duties as assigned

Position Details

• The Controller will be an exempt position and will require an in-office schedule Monday - Friday. This position reports to the CFO. The accounting team reports directly to this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $105,000.00 per year
