We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the business.


This is a hybrid role; reporting to the Miami WeWork office 3 days- week


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the company's accounting and financial operations, including the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and make recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  • Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure the company's financial stability.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, policies, and procedures, including GAAP.
  • Design and ensure the successful implementation of the order-to-cash process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably within the technology or financial services industry.
  • High level of proficiency with financial software and tools, such as Excel, QuickBooks, NetSuite and ERP systems
  • NetSuite experience and certification highly preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic financial guidance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
