Job description
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer engineering with focus in electrical / electronic control systems or embedded systems.
1-2 years of relevant experience (internship experience may be considered). Expertise in engineering tools like Matlab, Simulink, Vector tools (Canapé, CANalyzer etc.); Python Scripting. Experience with HIL software validation (dSPACE).
Experience with wiring harness builds. Engine system knowledge. Experience with calibration of closed loop control systems.
The main function of a controls engineer is to design, develop, install, and maintain equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems and processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists in creating and following electrical design schedule, from specification concept to system up completion, while keeping to an overall project schedule.
- Testing, evaluating, modifying and calibrating products and instruments.
- Analyze plant processes, design and implement improvements
- Troubleshooting issues with hardware and processes.
