Cook 2 | 6.75 Hours | Rosedale Elementary School | Start Date: 8/30/2023 | 10 Month Calendar | 6:45 am- 2:oo pm

GENERAL DUTIES:

Responsible for the daily operations of an elementary kitchen. Prepare and serve food items. Perform inventory tracking and ordering. Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
  • Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications
  • Hold a valid Food Handlers certification
  • One year of experience in food service
  • Experience in the use and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment
  • Experience coordinating the operations of a kitchen
  • Knowledge of ingredients, supplies and methods used in cooking
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety regulations for chemical use in the kitchen
  • Food service experiencce required; K12 foodservice experience preferred
  • ServSafe Certification is preferred
  • Oregon Food Handlers Certification is required
