Creative Kids Academy is seeking a cook for our Elk River school. For full-time positions, overtime is paid at time and a half as needed. Cooks are responsible for preparing delicious and nutritious meals for students and staff. We are looking for someone who is positive, reliable, creative, and thrives working in a fast-pace environment. Additional hours available working directly with children in a classroom environment, if desired. Join our team today!

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and food prep areas

• Plan and prepare nutritious meals daily for children and staff

• Must be able to track and accommodate dietary restrictions/allergies

• Track kitchen inventory and assist Center Director with weekly food order

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

• Must be able to pass a background study

• Comfortable working around children

• At least 6 months work experience in cooking and food production preferred
