Summary
The Pediatrics - Critical Care division is seeking a Coordinator, Business Operations to provide support to the Critical Care division by working with their Faculty, as well as other administrative support team members, in a collaborative, team environment to assist our providers in accomplishing their mission, which focuses on the care of critically ill children at a BCM Affiliate, Texas Children's Hospital.
Job Duties
- Prepares and processes purchasing orders.
- Manages domestic and international travel in the travel management system (Concur).
- Composes formal and informal correspondence including, but not limited to, creating and formatting presentations.
- Manages calendar scheduling and maintenance.
- Assists faculty with timekeeping.
- Submits licensure, membership, conference and other miscellaneous expenses for reimbursement.
- Assists faculty with IT and facilities needs by submitting and following up on tickets and troubleshooting issues.
- Performs general office tasks such as collecting and distributing mail and ordering and organizing supplies.
- Assists faculty with other assignments and projects as needed.
- Provides support to the other Critical Care Administrative Support team members as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors in a related field.
- Experience in a healthcare administration setting.
