Essential Functions

The Lead Recruiter will report directly to the Sr. Recruiting Manager and work closely with the Recruiting Team. The ideal candidate will be a high-performing, early career-level Sourcing Specialist or Recruiter. Passion and professionalism for recruiting are imperative, coupled with high energy and a solid understanding to see various initiatives completed. This is a busy, high-volume position working with the full life cycle of recruiting functions.

Recruiting is a highly visible area in our company with frequent interaction with executive leaders. This role requires the incumbent to display leadership, versatility, and professional polish to navigate our corporate landscape. This position requires a self-starter who can manage time, find creative solutions, and leverage the team's resources to ensure delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and source positions for assigned airport locations across the country and may require cold calling, screening resumes, and interviewing candidates
• Follows direction, working with station leadership towards the facilitation of organizational strategic staffing plans, reviewing resumes, phone screening, external sourcing candidates, and collecting interview feedback
• Uses recruiting tracker and all available tools to complete assigned tasks
• Provides support to other recruiting team members
• Actively participates and assists in self-auditing of departmental processes and follow-up of action items
• Behaves in a manner that promotes the Company’s values and positively affects morale.
• Collaborates in recruiting strategies as needed
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures
• Fully supports Company goals of continuous improvement and operational excellence at strategic and tactical levels, including reviewing areas of responsibility for improvement opportunities to initiate projects or communicate ideas to management, as well as active participation on project teams
• Ability to travel is a plus
• Any additional responsibilities or other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in recruiting/sourcing, preferably in both a corporate & agency environment
• Ability to make sound judgments and provide prudent recommendations to all levels of the company
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with staff to promote a compliance attitude
• Understand the use of social media regarding resourcing, leveraging various platforms, and executing recruiting strategies.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (UKG/UltiPro preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail, writing, and editing/proofreading skills required

The pay rate listed on this post is what the company reasonably expects to pay for this position. However, individual compensation may vary based on factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, education, and experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job currently works closely with Sr. Recruiting Manager overseeing the Recruiting Team

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office. Some of the work may be required in the operating units, which can require the usage of required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. It may also result in exposure to outside elements and mature the use of stairs and elevators. Travel, including air travel or auto travel, may occasionally be required.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 15 pounds.
