Granger Medical Clinic has an immediate opening for a full time Courier West Jordan location.

Overview:

The Courier is primarily responsible for transporting all items between assigned clinic locations in Davis, Salt Lake, Tooele and Utah counties. This includes USPS mail, inter-office mail, packages and parcels, office, lab and marketing supplies as well as vaccines and medical supplies. Occasionally delivers parcels to express depots. Transports supplies, materials and vaccines to appropriate facilities. High school education or equivalent preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of how to operate an automobile.
• Ability to navigate using maps and locate physical addresses on a map.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Delivers mail and inter-office mail to respective facilities.
• Courier medical supplies and lab specimens to appropriate facilities.
• Courier all item requirements requested by the individual facilities.
• Courier all drug and vaccine orders to their respective destinations.
• Collects all mail, inter office mail and packages from all clinics and delivers to mail room.

Education and Experience:

• High school Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• 1 to 3 years driving experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean driving record, copy of driving record will be required for insurance purposes.
• General office equipment and procedural knowledge helpful

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Active work, requiring lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment
• Inside and outside, climate-controlled working conditions, occasionally working in outdoor elements.
