The Credit Card Acquisition Manager role is responsible for developing the strategy associated with acquiring new credit card members across retail and online channels. This individual is responsible for aligning with our external partners, Bread Financial, on acquisition plans and is responsible for delivering YOY new credit card member growth. Additionally, this role is responsible for managing the implementation of all activities working cross functionally internally to execute multi-channel pre-approval campaigns. There is significant opportunity to drive enhanced acquisition rates within online channels. This will involve spearheading new technologies and test and learn strategies partnering closely with IT and Digital Marketing to prioritize the enhancement roadmap and realize this growth online and in the mobile app.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Credit Card Acquisition Manager role is responsible for developing the strategy associated with acquiring new credit card members across retail and online channels. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop holistic strategies to acquire new credit card members in the store channel and online. Work externally to gain alignment with Bread Financial, our credit card provider, on the proposed acquisition plans.
- Responsible for the $10M joint marketing funds allocated to acquisition
- Plan and oversee all targeted activities to drive new credit card member acquisition tactics across owned channels.
- Monitor key acquisition KPI’s and identify opportunities and develop recommendations to deliver acquisition targets
- Lead the development of new capabilities to drive new memberships (i.e., apply and buy in the mobile app). This will involve working cross functionally with IT and Bread Financial to develop technical requirements and oversee plans to implement new technologies.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Marketing / Loyalty / Business)
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience
- Strong practical knowledge of customer and lifecycle marketing, including best practices, competitive landscape and emerging trends
- Experience coordinating multi-functional retail initiatives
- Ability to understand and action complex data
- Independently partner and negotiate cross-functionally – internally and externally – to deliver results
- Outstanding project / time management skills and ability to prioritize to solve problems in a timely manner
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and sense of urgency with aptitude for detail and accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to proactively coach and provide feedback to internal and external partners
