If that resonates, and you’re someone with integrity, commitment, and a strong drive to deliver great products, we’d love to hear from you.The Crewing Coordinator I will use technical knowledge and experience to recruit and coordinate the hiring of independent contractors for Ross Production Services remote and control room-based events. The successful candidate should have a basic understanding of all positions required for a televised event and the skill sets required for each position. This individual will be expected to contribute to our growing database of independent contractors throughout the United States by recruiting additional talent. The Crewing Coordinator I will be responsible for identifying available independent contractors, securing services, tracking and reporting any expenses including costs of travel while staying within a constructed budget. The successful candidate will serve on-call for selected morning, days and evenings and must be able to react in a timely manner to any changes with staffing needs or programing changes. This role may occasionally require travel to remote sites to assist with production events.

What the job is all about:
- Crewing complete events in a timely manner while staying within the event budget parameters. Including the negotiation of rates, communication of the role and responsibilities of each position, travel policy and payment terms.
- Record all crewing-related information in central organizational system for Operations, Engineering and Production staff to reference.
- Collect and report feedback on independent contractors.
- Participate in Operations, Engineering and Production weekly conference calls.
- Maintain a basic understanding of all positions and equipment required for each production including but not limited to cameras, audio boards, replay machines, graphics platforms and production switchers.
- Continue education to stay current with latest technologies and advancements in both RPS and the industry to recruit and hire the most qualified independent contractors.
- Strong interpersonal skills including voice and email communication.
- Knowledge of industry standard broadcast positions and equipment.
- Capability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Standard knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office Suite.
