Hopewell Health Centers is a nationally accredited federally qualified health and community mental health center with 23 sites across TEN counties throughout Southeastern Ohio (Athens, Franklin, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Meigs, Perry, Ross, Vinton, and Washington). We are currently seeking a Crisis Intervention Coordinator to join our Cheshire, OH partial hospitalization behavioral health team.
As a Crisis Intervention Coordinator, you willprovide direct mental health services that include providing assessment, counseling and some case management services to severely mentally ill children and their families. You will be working with and may be transporting children. The Crisis Intervention Coordinator must be able to work closely with clients and team members, and other professionals and will also take the lead in training new staff and will provide some on site supervision.
What do we look for in our Crisis Intervention Coordinators??
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in closely related field; Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Social Work, preferred.
- Experience and/or training working with children and families with a primary interest in working with severely emotionally disturbed children and their families.
- Experience and strong working knowledge of crisis management, behavioral interventions styles and leadership skills preferred.
- Licensure or license eligible preferred
