Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute (PCLI), a multi-site referral center, is looking for two CRNAs with excellent patient-care skills. This is an opportunity to join an exceptional team that specializes in low-stress cataract surgery and laser vision correction. CURRENT OPENINGS
- Chehalis, WA – Live near Chehalis (halfway between Seattle and Portland) but usually fly in our corporate jets with surgery staff to other PCLI facilities.
- Tacoma, WA – Live between Tacoma and Olympia and usually drive or ride in our corporate vans with surgery staff to PCLI facilities within the Puget Sound region.
OVERVIEW
With small-town roots in western Washington, PCLI is a principle-centered organization that has earned a reputation for world-class care. Our exceptional staff is warm and caring, and our surgery centers have a calm, relaxed atmosphere that is specially created to ease anxiety and stress. Seventeen state-of-the-art surgery facilities are located in six states. Although our medical staff includes 14 CRNAs, 38 optometrists, and 15 surgeons, each facility has an intimate feel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidates should have strong communication skills and be able to work with highly skilled support staff in a team atmosphere.
- Perform patient assessments
- Evaluate potential risk factors
- Administer retrobulbar eye blocks and topical anesthesia as appropriate
- If needed, block training can be provided
- Monitor vital signs during and following anesthesia administration
- Provide emergency care with the surgeon when necessary
WORK SCHEDULE
- Monday to Thursday (no weekends or holidays)
- No on-call coverage
