Job description

This job position assists the Plan & Specs staff in coordinating order placements, shipments and deliveries. It could also assist other departments with their logistics.

Specific Description

  • In charge of entering new orders in the system for the Plan & Specs Department. Validate availability and shipping details in order to notify the customer or sales representative expected delivery date.
  • Ensure bill of lading and other required documentation is done properly and on a timely matter.
  • Coordinate maritime and ground delivery to ensure customers receive their equipment on time.
  • Collects logistic information by creating reports; identifying data and information resources; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Maintains logistic databases by entering, updating, purging and evaluating data on a constant basis.
  • Keeps a good relationship with suppliers and fabrics. Communicates changes in orders or unexpected events to sales force.
  • Other duties as required by the local/regional office.
Requirements:

Education


Ideal: Graduated from Business Administration, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or related BA.

Minimum: Associate's Degree in Business Administration.


Experience

Ideal: 2 years within the HVAC/R Commercial/ Residential Retail Industry

Minimum: 2 years+ similar position in other Industry.

Fluent in English & Spanish

Excellent Grammar in Spanish & English


Computer Skills


Advanced Knowledge in MS Office

Intermediate Knowledge in MS Excel

Intermediate Knowledge in MS Outlook

Basic Knowledge in Power Point
