Job Title: Customer Service Representative - Temporary

Healthcare Financial Systems (HFS) is a national Revenue Cycle Management company providing RCM solutions to Hospitals, Health Systems, Physician Practices, Clinics, and Labs throughout the United States.

We are growing and need Customer Service Representatives to help with current and new projects.

This is a remote position and requires that you provide your own equipment.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Customer Service Representative needs to have a service-oriented phone presence and the ability to be detail oriented in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for answering inbound inquires and assisting patients with billing issues, plans, and bill recovery.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Epic experience
• Personal technical equipment – computer, internet, etc.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in an administrative role
• Knowledge of email systems such as Microsoft Outlook sufficient to communicate with both internal and external contacts
• Knowledge of Word and Excel sufficient to work with documents complex in nature, as well as create basic documents.
• Ability to maintain strict HIPAA compliance
• Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer inbound phone calls as needed
• Assist patients in the resolution of billing issues
• Set up payment plans
• Respond to customer complaints and general inquiries within a timely manner
• Process customer payments
• Request itemized statements
• Perform all other related duties and projects as assigned by Supervisor or Director

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
