Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for a Lead Quality Data Analyst (Fabrication Division) (level 5) based out of Auburn, WA to support the Fabrication Division Quality.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads Quality reviews of complex proposals, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development
  • Leads Quality reviews of complex data and analytics, consults using statistical analysis in high level reviews across the division to assure that trends or systemic issues are identified and advises on development and implementation of corrective actions and provides predictive and prescriptive risk assessments
  • Develops Quality budget and cost estimates
  • Represents the Company on industry working groups to develop industry standards for quality
  • Advises senior leadership on development of business strategies that influence directives and
  • policies
  • Advises multi-function groups on development of processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed.
  • Consults in high level reviews of corrective actions at the enterprise and customer level to assure that trends or systemic issues are identified and advises on development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions.
  • Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability.
  • Develops new applications for statistical tools to maintain and improve process capability
  • Conducts business unit risk analysis to determine audit focus areas
  • Develops and manages business unit audits plans and schedules.
  • Performs benchmarking of enterprise best-practices.
  • Works under consultative direction.
  • Lead, develop, perform and provide analysis, using advance data/information platforms
  • Consults division leaders for next generation analytics solutions
  • Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity that require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity and innovation.
  • Develops solutions to unique challenges that may serve as precedent for future decisions.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Analysis.
  • 10+ years of experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventative Action, Root Cause Corrective Actions.
  • 5+ years of experience using statistical analysis tools.
  • Experience training others.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Tableau/Power BI
  • Quality experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.)
