NOTE: This team is working a hybrid schedule (two (2) days/week in the client's Moline, IL, office). Fully remote candidates will not be considered for this position

JOB DETAILS

This level designs complex/significant parts of a system/sub-system or works on a complete product of a broad scope and solves well-defined problems with little guidance. Additionally, the candidate may act as a work lead, providing technical coaching to other engineers and support personnel, and is recognized as an expert user of critical technology; develops new software functionality for product development.

Required Skills:

Needs hand on experience with Python, AWS, Apache Spark – MUST HAVE

3 years Data Engineering work experience building Pipelines and ETL processes. Hands on Databricks experience – MUST HAVE

5 or more years of hands-on experience in the AWS / JAVA J2EE in the design, development, testing and integration of high complex backend – MUST HAVE

Experience working with Big Data – MUST HAVE

Nice to Have Skills:

Proven work experiences in designing and implementing loosely coupled microservices

2 or more years of experience in cloud development with platforms like AWS

2 or more years of hands-on experience of full-stack design patterns and designing loosely coupled architectures

2 or more years of experience with CI/CD build processes and configuration

4 or more years of proven experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment

4 or more years of deep experience leveraging DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

2 or more years of experience working with Test Driven Development and Unit Test Frameworks

Experience implementing high quality code to ensure that features meet business needs and is scalable

Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiation, conflict resolution and demonstrates

Proven experience as a work lead providing technical coaching and mentoring to others

Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related career field

Salary: $60.00 - $64.00 per hour
