KNS Building Restoration is a leading general construction, construction management, and consulting firm. KNS is currently seeking Purchasing Agents to join our team!

8 am to 4 pm M-F

The Purchasing Agent MUST have experience in the construction field, along with strong customer service and relationship building skills. Ability to interact with vendors in a professional manner. Ability to work independently and with a team in a high-volume environment.

• Review and approve invoices
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
• Reconciles and verifies vendors accounts
• Build and cultivate relationships with Vendors and Suppliers
• Respond to vendor and GC staff inquiries
• Handle time-sensitive tasks
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
• Assist with special projects as needed
• Follow manager’s instructions and directions as necessary to ensure efficiency of operations
• Promptly and courteously handle telephone and email communications as directed.
• Provide excellent customer service to all vendors and Garden Communities personnel.

General Background and Minimum Requirements

• At least two years office experience
• Knowledge of basic computer applications and software such as MS Office and construction scheduling programs as used by the company
