The Data & Impact Manager (DIM) provides program-level leadership and hands-on support to implement data and impact(D&I) plans and processes, data entry, reporting and analysis. This includes spearheading and managing projects, and convening program-level specialists to promote collaboration and cohesion on data and evaluation work across the agency.

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled in all aspects of data evaluation. Additionally, you should be committed to transforming data into readable, goal-driven reports for continued innovation and growth. This position is full time at 36 hours a week, compensation range is $65,000 - $75,000 annually DOE, provides a full benefits package and is located in Seattle.


Responsibilities:

Outcomes/Evaluation

  • Lead implementation of evaluation & quality improvement plans for agency and programs
  • Lead implementation of tools and approaches for program evaluation and quality improvement, ensuring methods align with SWYFS’ culture and values
  • Analyze data and evaluation results for ongoing program improvement
  • Build internal capacity for using data to inform decision making and program planning

Program Support

  • Support programs in data management and evaluation responsibilities & projects to build internal D&I capacity
  • Provide technical support on programs’ usage of data-related technical products (AWARDS database, Tableau, Formstack, etc.)
  • Provide ongoing staff training in data and evaluation work and processes, including usage of technical products and platforms. Support programs in identifying training needs, providing new hire training, etc.
  • Convene D&I-focused staff across the organization for regular collaboration and cohesion
  • Maintain working familiarity with external systems required by contracts and partners
  • Oversee functioning of agency wide enrollment processes, including building forms and technical support

Other

  • Actively participate as a member of SWYFS leadership, including attending all Leadership Team meetings, full staff meetings, departmental meetings, and board meetings as needed
  • Attend appropriate collective impact meetings and other community meetings
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Commitment to anti-racist practices and social justice; familiarity and comfort working in a multicultural setting
  • A B.A. in a related field or commensurate experience
  • Ability to work independently and balance multiple large projects at once
  • Flexible, creative, strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration with diverse audiences, including direct service staff, contract partners, school district partners, board, etc.
  • Strong training skills, including training on technical topics for diverse audiences
  • Proven ability to effectively lead cross-program initiatives
  • Experience working with contracts and grants, including translating contract requirements to data, and reporting on outcomes
  • Experience navigating and using social service information systems; ability to efficiently learn new systems
  • Expertise in relevant software and tools such as Excel, Tableau, etc.
