As a Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to manipulate large data sets, integrate diverse data sources, data types and data structures into solutions under management guidance. You will build experience developing analytical approaches to meet business requirements, which involves translating requests into use cases, test cases, preparation of training data sets and iterative algorithm development.

What You’ll Do

• Execute code to generate business results, code efficiency improves solution delivery

• Analyze and prepare data for analysis, assembling data from standard and disparate data sources

• Research new and advanced predictive modeling techniques as appropriate for a specific solution

• Undertake development projects with multiple statistical deliverables leveraging business and technical expertise

• Analyze and prepare and new data sources and incorporate into analytical solutions

• Evaluate the technical work of peer statistical analysts guiding them on deliverable quality and accuracy

What Experience You Need

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, management science or other related discipline

• 1-4 years of experience using Python, R, or SAS

• 1-4 years of hands on data and analytics experience

• 1-4 years of experience communicating with customers from an analytical perspective

What Could Set You Apart

• Master’s Degree

• Strong quantitative analytical experience, including hands-on and background in using statistics, regression modeling, neural networks, decision trees, random forest, support vector machine, kernel based methods, clustering and similar methods

• Experience with Hadoop, Hive, Impala, Google/AWS Cloud is a plus

• Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence methodology a plus
