Job description

We are building a data streaming and ingestion platform, which reliably handling many billions of messages every day. Our goal is to build a world-class leading streaming platform that enables data producers and consumers to easily share and process information. We are building upon and improving our platform using open-source projects such as Kafka and Kubernetes, all running in the cloud.

Essential experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar technical field
• 4+ years of experience working on real-time data and streaming applications
• 2+ years with DevOps focus and containerization solutions
• Passionate advocate of cloud computing, with solid professional experience of AWS architecture and administration in production environments.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD automation tooling such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform and other DevOps technologies.
• Experience building and deploying data pipelines working with technologies such as Confluent, Kafka, Databricks, StreamSets, Spark and similar.
• Experience in one or more of: Java, Go, Python or Kotlin (Java, Kotlin preferred)

• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts, data structure, algorithms, and system level programming (including multi-threaded programming)
• Ability to test and monitor your own code

• Capable of building, and can demonstrate a history of developing, your own solutions to fix complex issues
• Solid written and verbal communications skills

Desired experience

• Kotln programming experience
• Experience with Spring
• Experience with Confluent or Apache Kafka including internals, advanced topics, installation/management
• Kubernetes and Helm experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
