Graham Technologies (GTECH) is looking for a Database (DBA) SME to join our fast-growing team of over 70+ members.

Your role:

We are looking for a DBA to support the security control assessment activities associated with reviewing databases, both developed in-house and open source in our customer applications.

You will be happy to know: This position has telecommuting options, but the candidate has to be in the DC metro area.

We are excited about candidates who:

• Ability to pass a background check and attain a Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a similar major
• Seven (7) years of experience in modern database development, upgrading, support, and design.
• Shall have experience in establishing performance and statistical monitoring of enterprise databases to include, but not limited to; code review, wellness checks, data integrity, privacy, and security.
• Shall have experience in supporting cloud database environments, specifically AWS (i.e., EC2, S3 or Redshift) to include backup and archiving of data.

We're also excited about candidates who might have:

• Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, CIW Database Design Specialist, and Microsoft Certified IT Professional
