We will train you. Experience is not necessary but is a plus.
We are totally flexible with the hours. We are looking for 2 part-time assistants. One for mornings and one assistant for afternoon shift. We are also okay with a mix of both.
Daycare assistant responsibilities and duties
Help plan and implement activities that promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children ages 1-13.
Other Duties
Supervise children
Prepare and teach daily lessons
Prepare and lead arts and craft lessons
Prepare healthy meals and snacks
Maintain a clean and sanitary environment
Diaper changing and assisting children in bathroom if needed
Potty Training
Receives and dismisses children in a timely manner
Discuss children's developmental progress with parents
Provides verbal behavior reports to daycare management and to parents
Accepts and documents child's tuition payments
Provide daycare tour to parents when necessary for new enrollments
Assists to maintain daycare in compliance with licensing laws and regulations
Perform other related duties as assigned by manager on duty
