Pay rate scale: $80k - $100k annual

Overview

Manage order pullers, loaders, receivers, and inventory control specialists. Drive workflow throughout the warehouse to ensure sense of urgency in pulling team. Work directly with supervisors and team leaders on first shift and swing shifts to execute vehicle staging and loading. Ensure warehouse is clean, neat and organized, tour ready at all times.

Duties

• Lead by example; show professionalism in all occasions. Work with office staff on a daily basis
• Provide and oversee training of new employees and retraining of seasoned employees as needed.
• Focus on people and leadership development to solidify bench strength and create promotable candidates.
• Oversee and hold associates accountable for schedules and clocking's.
• Perform annual associate appraisals.
• Minimize overtime by flexing seasonal labor and general staffing as needed.
• Assign and monitor fair workload among associates.
• Update and process pick ticket and move paperwork accurately through next phase of processing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient production functions. Drive pullers to remove plastic wrap, cardboard, empty trash, stack pallets, sweep, etc., daily.
• Foster a team environment and embrace the company's cultural mindset of customer service among associates.
• Partner with inventory coordinator and/or GM as needed to execute cycle counts.

Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements

• Ability to meet productivity standards and complete work in timely manner.
• Ability to utilize hand trucks, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within warehouse facilities.
• Ability to follow specific verbal and written instructions.
• Work overtime as required by business needs.
• Perform job tasks using specific safety tools and actions as provided in training.
• Maintain a high percentage of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow specific verbal and written instructions.

Experience

• Forklift certification preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

• Be in good physical condition with the ability to frequently stand, walk, twist, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch for prolonged periods of time (8 hours or more a day).
• Ability to reach, grasp, grip, carry, push, and pull.
• Must be able to consistently lift 50 lbs.; anything over 50lbs must be assisted.
• Must be able to work in various conditions that exist in a warehouse environment: cold, heat, wind, dusty, noisy, etc.
