Now hiring a Delivery Director to oversee Delivery, Draught, and Merchandising Operations.

Delivery Director Job Details: *

  • Must be flexible with workdays and hours of workdays.
  • Assist in the selection of Delivery, Merchandising, and Draught positions by working with Delivery Supervisor team and HR team.
  • Manage the performance of new hire and ongoing staff training.
  • Manage the adoption and training of all worksite safety programs.
  • Manage the staff’s actions to ensure staff compliance to Standards of Conduct and other Company policies.
  • Manage staff’s time and attendance compliance including working with supervising personnel in the identification of non-complaint patterns and behavior and corrective action processes.
  • Conducts periodic training for staff on topics such as new policies, changes in safety rules or operational processes, and others.
  • Coordinates Department return to work with the Risk Director to minimize injuries and costs to the Company.
  • Ensures Company standards and operations are satisfied.
  • Oversees the Delivery Department’s Drug Free Workplace policy compliance.
  • Ensures all duties are performed in a safe and mindful manner as defined in the Company safety policy.
  • Oversee the completion of appropriate paperwork and delivery drivers handling accordingly.
  • Oversee overall cleanliness and order of the vehicles and the surrounding areas is constantly maintained.
  • Performs regular 1:1s with direct reports, sets goals and KPIs, holding team accountable for results and efficiencies.
  • Works closely with other department managers including operations, sales, warehouse, office staff to cultivate a healthy culture and environment.
  • Participate in budget planning.
  • Ensure accurate completion of accounts receivable and account maintenance.
  • Oversee fleet maintenance and repair including accounts payable and invoicing.
  • Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary to ensure operations are effective. Duties are subject to change at the discretion of the Company, to accommodate the changes and needs of the industry and our customers.
  • Strong working knowledge of state and federal DOT and FMSCA regulations.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the public.
  • Valid Commercial Class A Driver’s License with a standard transmission endorsement and DOT Medical Card.
  • Demonstrate proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and VIP.
