Our office in Crescent City, CA/Brookings, OR is seeking an experienced Route Delivery Driver to be one of the first points of contact with our customers. Our route delivery drivers are passionate, customer-focused professionals with outstanding people skills and the desire to help us grow our business through hard work and innovative thinking!
About the Job
Our Route Delivery Drivers deliver propane on a scheduled route to our customers and at times perform light service work in Brookings and the surrounding areas. Applicant must have a valid Class B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker and air brake endorsements.
Qualities of successful candidates for this position:
- Team Player
- Able to work in varying environmental conditions-moderate heat to heavy fog and/or rain.
- Experience in adverse driving conditions for extended periods of time
- Poses a significant knowledge of Brookings, OR and surrounding roads
- Ability to pass CETP training and skills assessment
- Solution-oriented
- Work independently
- Ability to read digital and paper maps
- Ability to drive a standard transmission truck
- Customer Service focused
Applicants must have computer/tablet aptitude and be able to operate proprietary software with training. The position is Monday – Friday with occasional varying hours based on the needs of the business. Evenings and weekends are required on a rare occasion, and include a rotating, on-call responsibility. The position is local serving Brookings and surrounding areas and comes with a competitive wage and benefits package as well as retirement and quarterly bonus potential. The successful applicant must be able to pass a Post Offer pre-employment background check, drug & alcohol test and a physical.
