Job description

We are looking for a NON-CDL cube truck/cargo van delivery driver for our Menomonie, WI location!!

Schedule: Monday – Friday 3rd shift OVERNIGHT start time approx 22:00

Responsibilities

• You would be delivering and picking up mostly automotive parts and delivering them to dealerships through out WI. Potentially some other items as well.
• Determines condition of vehicle by inspecting vehicle before and after use per DOT regulations. Reports any and all conditions to supervisor.
• Maintains a safe vehicle, safe driving conditions and protects load by complying with company policies, procedures, roadway rules and regulations.
• Provides customer service by listening and helping resolve customer concerns.
• Responsible for some paperwork. Manifests for the company and also for any of its customers who require it.
• Responsible to use our ELD/AOBRD to log hours per DOT regulations for hours of service (when needed).
• Responsible to use a hand held scanning device to track various items in transit.
• Return all items to base that have been picked up at various stops.
• Use either a forklift or pallet jack to load and unload trailer both at base and at locations.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Have had a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment testing (drug screen – CDL holders, DOT physical and background check).
• Have an acceptable MVR as per our company Fleet Safety Policy.
• Be fluent in English both written and spoken.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 1 year of delivery experience
• Have a valid DOT medical card
• Customer service experience
• Forklift experience or certification

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF JOB

• Ability to lift cases up to 70 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to push/pull cages filled with auto parts or bulk mail parcels
• Ability to push/pull either 2 wheeler or pallet of cases/tubs
• Ability to operate a pallet jack

Job Type: Full-time
